Privacy notice
What we collect when you use this website or ask us for a quote, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who we are

What we collect
- When you send the quote form: your name, phone number and/or email address, your suburb, and the details of the piece you want (type, measurements, finish and any notes).
- When you contact us on WhatsApp or by email: whatever you choose to send us, including photos.
- When you visit the website: our web server keeps a standard access log of your IP address, browser type and the pages you requested. The quote form also keeps a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for one hour, only to stop spam.
Why we use it
Only to reply to your request, give you a quote, and make and deliver your order. Access logs are used only to keep the website secure and working. We don’t use your information for marketing, and we never sell or rent it.
Who else handles it
- The website and its mail server are hosted in Germany by our web developer, Frontier Digital, on a Hetzner server.
- Quote requests are emailed to our Gmail inbox, provided by Google.
- If you choose WhatsApp, your messages are handled by WhatsApp (Meta).
- The “Get directions” button opens Google Maps. Nothing is sent to Google unless you click it.
Because these services may store information outside South Africa, we use providers with appropriate data-protection safeguards.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no analytics. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
How long we keep it
- Website access logs: deleted automatically after 14 days. Mail server logs: after 4 weeks.
- Quote requests and messages: for as long as we need them to deal with your request or order, and for any period the law requires us to keep business records. After that we delete them.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you’re not happy with our response, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
